Go Greyhounds! Boerne middle school north is located right off Main Street at 240 Johns Rd 78006. Led by Principal Daniel Owen this middle school is committed to providing a well-rounded program that promotes, develops, and advances the academic, physical, and social skills of each student. The mission is to produce students who take responsibility for their actions, respect learning, and have a feeling of self-worth. This school services students in grades 6-8 and offers the core curriculum needed for high school in English Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies. In addition to the core curriculum Boerne North offers Career and Technical Education in the concentrations of College & Career Readiness, Investigating Careers-Family Consumer Science, Robotics, Investigating Careers: STEM and Digital Literacy. The elective courses students can choose from are Independent Study Mentorship-GT, Student Aide, Student Leadership, Wellness and Yearbook. Fine arts electives include art, band, choir, orchestra, and theatre. Spanish and German language courses are also offered at this location. As of the 2019-2020 school year this campus was home to 807 students. Students from Fabra Elementary, Currington Elementary and Cibolo Creek Elementary feed into this middle school. Outside of academics, Boerne North offers several clubs for students to participate in outside of school hours. These include Coding Club, Drum and Fife Corps, FCCLA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Jazz Band, National Junior Honor Society, Pep Squad, Student Council, UIL. The school also has an athletic program that includes the following sports; football, boys and girls basketball, track, cross country, volleyball, and tennis.
