The Dienger

The Dienger Trading Co. is not just a restaurant to the city of Boerne but a piece of history representing the hard working German families who first settled this area. Joseph Dienger first constructed the building as a grocery store on the bottom and his families living quarters on top. Today it still embodies the original character and beauty that Joseph once intended for the location. The Dienger Trading Co. serves up breakfast, lunch and Sunday brunch to residents and guests along the Hill Country Mile. For breakfast you’ll find a very traditional menu with pancakes, eggs, quiche and French toast while the lunch menu features sandwiches, salads and soups. The restaurant does serve wines and beers alongside its array of caffeinated beverages, tea, soft drinks and juices. Attached to the restaurant is also a bookstore and boutique with little treasures for your home and unique apparel. The Dienger is located at 210 N Main St and is open for breakfast from 7am-10:30am Monday through Saturday and for lunch from 11am-3:30pm Monday through Saturday. Sunday brunch is from 8:30am-2pm and the Boutique has its own hours Monday through Saturday from 10am-5:30pm and Sunday from 10am-2pm.
