Established in 1983 the Hungry Horse has been serving up authentic home-style meals to residents and tourists in the heart of downtown Boerne. Owner Steve Artale has been recognized as “Best Business of the Year” multiple times and serves up delicious recipes for the whole family from Meat Loaf, King Ranch Chicken and Sweet Bran Muffins. Hungry Horse has an extensive menu with to go options, catering, weekday specials and to-go casseroles for those days you just don’t feel like cooking.
