El Rio Mexican Restaurant has been a busy lunch spot in Boerne for a number of years. The restaurant serves Tex-Mex style food and has a large menu selection. You can order something such as Chicken Fried Steak with fries or a Carne Guisada plate. El Rio Mexican Restaurant is located in a strip center on Main Street at 1361 S Main St. It is open Sunday through Thursday from 11am-9pm and Friday and Saturday from 11am-10pm.
