River Road

River Road Park might be one of the most well-known parks in the Boerne area due to its located off River Road alongside the Cibolo Creek. Visitors can walk or jog the trail, fish, enjoy the wild ducks and geese, or sit at the picnic tables and enjoy a bite to eat. A unique feature of River Road Park is the Dietert Mill Dam. On the east side of the park, the Dam was originally part of an old homestead but became city property in 1912. The park has public restrooms as well as water fountains and you can grab a bite to eat from local restaurants across the street to enjoy along the river.
