The Cibolo Nature Center is a 100-acre natural area built along Cibolo Creek. The website best states the centers purpose; “nature education, enriching community experiences, and environmental research in action.” There are 6 miles of trails that guests can enjoy that range from ½ to 1/3 mile. Most are lined with gravel, however there are some dirt paths that extend into nature as well. Guests can hike to Cibolo Creek and enjoy a relaxing stop near the water or enjoy the picnic table and playground along another trail. The center frequently puts on educational events for children and the center has a pavilion, observation deck and restrooms. The park is free, but donations are accepted.
